Independence Hall
The Assembly Room of Independence Hall is where many historical events have occurred. This is the room where George Washington was appointed commander in chief of the Continental Army in 1775, and where the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4, 1776. The design of the American flag was agreed upon in this room in 1777, and the Articles of Confederation were adopted (1781), along with the drafting of the U.S. Constitution (1787). Bring a piece of history into your cross stitch collection. Use 2 strands for all cross stitches and quarter stitches, and 1 strand for backstitching.
