Nipper

"Nipper" was born in or near Bristol, England in 1884. When his owner died, he went to live with the brother, a London artist name Francis Barraud. One day while listening to a record, Barraud spotted Nipper as he cocked his head to hear the sounds coming out of the horn. Inspired, he took up his palette and brush and painted the scene which he called "HIS MASTER'S VOICE". Nipper died in 1895 at age 11, but he lives on in the memories of those of us who have purchased the billions of Victor and RCA records, radios, and TV sets.
