counts per inch conversion charts

Does anyone have a chart or list that tells the size of pieces in inches when done on different count fabric?

Re: counts per inch conversion charts

This is sooo much easier and clear to use, thanks for the guide tip from Yarn Tree, maybe patterns online should add something like that on here!

Hi. I printed a chart out from
www.yarntree.com

Scroll down the page a little and you will see a stiches to inches link. Click and print:)

Re: counts per inch conversion charts

I don't have a chart but you can figure the design size by dividing the stitch count by the fabric count. ie. 81 stitches X 120 stitches would be divided by 11, 14, 18 etc. fabric count. The design size for 11 count fabric would be 7.5" X 11". I also then add 6" or 8" of fabric to each dimention for finishing. For the above I would have a piece of 11 count fabric 14' X 17".
I hope this helps.
