Indicate if Cross Stitch patterns have other types of stitches

am legally blind. I still love stitching and designing Counted Cross Stitch. I try to do just basic cross stitches, Backstitches and french knots are slightly harder. All those tiny partial stitches drive me nuts. It is hard to tell sometimes by the sample picture just how complex the pattern is.

I ordered Melinda Blackman's A Winters Night. I love the picture but cannot do all the timy angled stitches.
