Your help is needed!

I was all ready to put together what I thought would be a really cute idea but now I'm not so sure. I've stitched 4 angels, one for each season and they're 3 x 3. I've stuffed them and fringed the sides. I wanted to use an angel hanger that I have so I have a piece of ribbon that I was going to use.
Now I don't know how to attach the stitching to the ribbon! Gluing is kind of scary and I'm not sure how to stitch them.
Any suggestions would be great.
