Re: Animal Babies
greetings, my cross-stitch is done on aida cloth which is 12" X 18", i cut the material the same size as the aida cloth and sew them together. make sure the right sides are together and leave the top open with some room left to make a hem in the top on both peices of cloth. put velcro at the top where the hem is, so the pillow can be taken out when washing is needed. i get the pillows at wal-mart, they are called travel pillows. i hope this makes sense, my grandchildren love them. i also put their names at the bottom of each picture. let me know if this does not make any sense to you and i will try to explain better. joyce

Re: Animal Babies
Joyce, just a couple more questions....Do you have a pattern for the pillowcases? Could you tell me exactly how to make the pillows and how you sew the completed cross stitch design onto the pillowcase? I know this sounds crazy asking how to do this, but it sounds like a really great idea. I know some little ones that I'd like to do this for.

Re: Animal Babies
i have never done any of the animal babies but have done lots of precious moments. i am making pillow cases out of them for some little people i love. i bought some material with clouds on it and sew that on the back putting velcroe at the top so the pillow can be removed and the cover washed when needed. they fit pillows 11x17 which are called travel pillows at wal-mart. hope this gives you a new idea. joyce
