Re: What do you do with your orts?
I always threw mine out but I didn't come from a stitching family, I was the first of the generations to take it on and even got my mom involved. Anyways, now starting this year I have just collected them in a drawstring bag.

Re: What do you do with your orts?
I have always meant to use mine in handmade paper, but I haven't gotten around to learning how to make paper yet. I have all the materials, just not the time. Too many hobbies, too little time...

Re: What do you do with your orts?
I have always put mine out for the birds. Have not heard of any issues with doing that, only making certain that there were no pieces long enough to cause any problems with tangling.

Re: What do you do with your orts?
I have a tall, clear glass vase that I received from my sister-in-law nearly 11 years ago. I keep that on my end table and place all my orts in that. When it "appears" to be getting full, I just push the stack down. I've never emptied it, so it's got nearly 11 years' worth of orts! Every time I look at it, I'm reminded of all the wonderful projects I've done.
Hadn't thought about glass ornaments, I'll have to keep that in mind -- thanks for that idea!
