Hi, this is my first message on the board. I've been cross stitching since 1997. I am also self taught. I am a stay at home mom and I have a 4 year old daughter. Hope to make some new friends.

I love to cross stitch too. I am also self taught I am a sta-at-home mom of a 6 year old girl and a 2 year old girl. My husband calls it my drug of choice. I walk out of the kitchen making my way to the couch and dealing with the girls every step of the way. I am presently working on a piece called Grandmothters work for my mom. I took a break and now am back on it. Wishing ya'll plesent stitching.

Don't you just hate it when you have problems with a piece? Hang in there! I haven't stitched much the last month! My DD was pregnant with my grandson! He finally joined us on September 3rd! :) He is absolutely precious! I am currently working on a "Baby's Sleeping" sign for their door!

Hi !! I'm coming back to stitching after being busy with child & job, so am stitching my first in a few years and am so enjoying being back at it!! Addicted again ! I'm stitching a Gaelic "Welcome Friends" sign - realizing that most of what I've stitched has ended up in other people's houses. The next couple are going to be on my walls !!
Will pop back again !!
