Re: Kreinik Blending Filament
You don't seperate it, it is on the roll as one thread. Most Krienk's are single threads so you just either cut yourself 2 pieces or cut 1 piece of kreinik and 1 piece of floss and use them together for an effect called blending or tweeding.

Re: Kreinik Blending Filament
I came to this site to find out what this blending fifment is. I requested it from the 2 stores in town that have cross stitch supplies, bu they hadn't heard of it. Out of desperation to do a project as a gift I just substituted DMC metallics. I think it looked just as nice.

Re: Kreinik Blending Filament
Thanks for your reply. I gave up on trying to use the Kreinik Filament. I bought it at Michael's and the store clerk must have given me the wrong product as it comes in different thicknesses. I ended up buying a DMC metallic and at least I got the thread through the needle and it probably looks the same anyway.

Re: Kreinik Blending Filament
hold your breathe, stick your tongue out the left side of your mouth and close one eye, then pull... just kidding, i don't know of an "easy" way, and once you get it separated and start to use it it splits very badly. wish someone would invent a new filament.
